PS4 Pro 4.0 Stuttering Issue

I haven't played since shortly after the release of Snowfall. I recently came back after seeing terrain tools have been added and downloaded 4.0. After starting a new city I've noticed horrendous stuttering when panning around or even looking at vehicles on the freeway - this is with no population at all I might add. This is also especially bad when speeding up time. I've tried loading an old city and it's the same result so I opted to uninstall the game, then reinstalled and disabled installing the patch (so the game was at v1.0). I started a new city and there was no stuttering at all. So I went ahead and installed 4.0 again and the stuttering was straight back the moment I created a new city. Seeing as there aren't many complaints about this I'm guessing it has something to do with 4.0 breaking the game on Pro consoles only as most would be playing on standard PS4s? Autosave is disabled btw and I've tried disabling Boost Mode and Supersampling - no effect whatsoever on the stuttering. It's literally unplayable in its current condition.

Actually there are tons of threads on lag issues and it all started with patch 3.00. We started reporting this issue 2 months ago. Patch 4.00 came out, while reducing the severity, still hasn't fixed the problem completely.

My game stutters also. Maybe the next patch we probably have to wait 2 more months for will finally fix the problem. Good luck!

Oh damn Didn't realise. I looked for threads on stuttering and/or framerate issues on 4.0 but only saw the one. If that's been in since 3.0 that explains that so thanks for the reply. Still, I would have expected loads of threads on it with the 4.0 release, but I guess not a lot of people are playing anymore which is a shame.

I would say plenty of people are still playing. I've seen several people report it in an all inclusive list though.

Well my game freezes every 5 minutes to half hour. I’m on Xbox one and I uninstall reinstall and still crashes freezes and it also kicks me out to the Xbox home menu and I tried to build it again and kicks me out again. Very unplayable cities. Very disappointing. It won’t be fixed for another 6 months to a year or so.

It funny you say that cause the game is fine on xbox one. Maybe you should convert to a necromonger or suffer horrendous lag forever.
