PS4 Pro Text Size

Playing on PS4 Pro, with a HD tv without HDR nor 4k, the general text size of the text is too small to read from certain distance. But it's awfully small in the tutorial boxes, making them useless. In a game like this, if you can't read the text, how are you supposed to play?

It is the same on XB1 using an HDTV ... a 60" TV from a normal distance still can't be read very well, not to mention the text seems to be light in colour. If it is something I think is important, I have to walk up to the TV to read it. It's probably fine if you use the console on a desk attached to a monitor, but that's not usually how a console system is setup.

Can agree here, 55" 4k tv 2.5-4m sitting distance using a ps4. realy annoying to read, especially the techs or specials of the colonizer.. dont even bother reading them anymore.. love the game nevertheless

Damn! And here I was about to shell out on a 4K 50 inch just for this baby alone! Bummer.

Well, this deffo needs addressing pronto! Or else.. Could always break out my mega-magnifying glass I have stored for emergencies such as these! Perhaps Paradox Devs expected us all to have 20/4 resolution, built-in magnifying glasses like a hawk!

This is definitely an issue. There needs to be an option to adjust the text size or just make it bigger by default. I'm playing on regular PS4

Likewise, agreed and let's hope in the Console patch it will be sorted! Fingers crossed. They seem to be listening and care about what people are saying, so it's just now a matter of patience and waiting..
