PS5 cannot save, overwrite old saves

I was playing things had been going pretty well. I had made it from the early start into the 1300s, could play for several hours manually saving every 2 years with 1-2 crashes per play. So I might lose a little have to go back but I could make it up. I was not using iron man or autosave as there were still crash on save problems.

Today I was getting ready to stop playing and the game year was 1384. I created a save but then when I checked I noticed no save had been made , there was not one for 1382 either. I tried a couple more times to save and no luck.

I also tried overwriting a few older saves I had not deleted 1374, 1376. Instead of overwriting they were deleted.

This is frustrating. How am I supposed to enjoy my empire when the save function doesn’t work.

Do u read old topics? This problem since 4 month. I can't save after 1120 years. But i have 5000 members at clan. Before game i can't save at 1250. And speed unbelievable slow. They joke to us ,take money and going to Bahamas

Yes.

I had the save problem with Royal Court, my game crashed on every save back then. If you look at my post history I complained when Royal Court came out the game was unplayable.

I thought the most recent update improved things as it reduced my crash on save from every time I tried to save to 1-2 crashes every 3 hours. But now the game will not let me save at all. I cannot create a new save and if I try to save over an old save, overwrite, it deletes the save instead.

There are no error messages and I have plenty of save spots, am only using 7/15.
