PS5 Still crashing after last patch

I am still crashing every 5-10 minutes once i hit year 2400-ish. I have started a new save, deleted the game, reloaded on my PS5. I deleted all my saved data and started a new game, but still the issue persists. It is similar to pre-patch issue, but the crash issue is just deferred to later end game. Very frustrating to play that long and then having the game become unplayable.

any news of another bug fix to fix the constant crashing?

For me it even started around 2300 ish but I play on biggest galaxy with maximum number of AIs. I wonder if that has anything to do with it.

I run the same settings as you but this didn't happen until the update. And yeah, after 2300 the game consistently crashes every 5-10 min

Consider yourself lucky, it got so bad that I would login, load game, save it, unpause and then crash immediately. Its been radio silence on a fix, i havent been able to enjoy overlord since it went live. I guess I have to wait a few more months for an update based on what i am reading for update schedule. Extremely disappointed.

I'm playing on X1, while I'm not experiencing crashes like this. Are the crashes y'all are facing happening during auto-saving?

I play on a med galaxy with 0.5x habitual and have had instances where the game will freeze for during auto-saving, and last for more than 2-10 minutes.

Good suggestion, but autosave had no impacted. I logged with high hopes that autosave was the issue, but i crashed as soon as i left system view (within 15 days in game). I havent been able to play in 2-months, Stellaris forum is the new End Game Crisis.

Yes it usually happens after a couple of seconds after i open the expansion planner and marked the "is colonizabe" to on almost forget to mention that this is happening on my xbox one version

I'm having the same issue but it didn't start until I bought a few DLCs and an expansion. The game worked fine on Xbox until then. That makes it more frustrating because I paid money to crash the game lol

One thing I have noticed is that it doesn't crash if I stay in a system view. If I scroll out to galaxy view it crashes frequently. I'm currently playing on a midsized galaxy. It's still not perfect but try staying in a system and see if it helps, at least until they can fix it.
