Buy direct from Paradox via internet and those issues are irrelevant

If I order it via online shop I will pay about 180 zlotych but in Poland CDProjekt will sell it for 99 zlotych and with Polish language version (the second is not important for me :) ) ;)

Think of all the extra cash Paradox will get when we buy the games directly from them! They can buy more beer for the CK gold-party and for making EU3...

I paid a tribute buying Vic for about 500 zlotych (with all tariffs included, which cost me about half of the whole price because of invoice mistakes and fact that game was bought out of Europe = from Canada :( ). :p

That wasn't tribute to Paradox, that was tribute to the distributor and Polish government;)

 Stop it We don't want to buy a pirat it's an original game
PS I saw it yesterday it's going to be out in Poland JUPI for cdprojekt :D (maybe I'll even forgive them  ) It says May 2004

I figure the game is going to retail at $40 US.

Figure sales tax (depending on your state) will add 3-6 more bucks on top.

Now you're at $46.

I bought the game (or ordered or whatnot) from Paradox for 32 FakeDollars. Add shipping on to that and convert to real money and it comes out somewhere around $50 (assuming my credit card bank charges me $1 for a foreign currency transaction).

So I'm paying $4 more for Johan to be able to afford an intern or two on the next project. Preferably a few busty ones. With low IQs. And a firm dislike of wearing clothing. Who are 21. Maybe.

Just a quick comment...

The above is what I was talking about. You would think that paradox would meet us half way as they get a bigger cut from direct sales. No doubt they can't undercut the publishers as it wouldn't be appreciated (contract agreement).

That being said as a long time fan of their games. (Only got an account on the forums when I thought you needed it for searching. I didn't notice the sticky about it not working. I prefer to lurk) I too will gladly order direct if it helps the design team. In fact I will right now.

Check also the price for Europa Universalis 2: they actually pay you a buck for "buying" the game.
