This has probably been addressed elsewhere before, but does anyone know a way to change the flag of a puppet-nation to reflect the ideology and nationality of its master? It's always bugged me that if I release Canada, Australia or any of the British Dominions as an Axis power they still show their respective Red Ensigns.

I was digging through the Flagchange Project's files and understand it can change the flag based on government-type, but does anyone know how to incorporate the puppet-master's identity into the switch? For example - having different flags for Canada or Australia if they are dominated by Germany, Japan or the Soviets?

Basically I just need someone with more experience with modding who could show me what I would need to do to incorporate a feature like this.

As I said in my main question, I had looked at the Flagchange Project, but was unable to figure out how to change flags based upon who had puppet-ed the respective nation. I'm looking to assign flags based on who controls them.

Did you see my "Alternative Flagchange Project v. 1.6" features, just in the bottom of the first page of that topic?
-> one of them is: "Most of the countries that are puppet states won't change flags according to their own ideology, but they'll adopt one that represents their masters' one."

Ah okay! Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, I probably skipped over it by accident and didn't take it in.
