Congrats to the various winAARs and especially to @Bullfilter in the CK2 category. Well deserved.

Thanks to all who voted for my AARs.

As the competition is fierce in some categories and not as much in others, I would opt to keep the limit to four in the "Other" category. However, if there are so many good Imperator AARs, then consider a subcategory for those and keep "Other" intact to catch all the rest.

Finally, thanks to @Nikolai for hosting and tallying.

Thank you all for the first-place finish! There was, as always, stiff competition everywhere. Well done to all the other winners and to the two EU4 writAARs joining me on the podium, @Rensslaer and @Bullfilter!

Thank you @Nikolai for the hard work you do in managing theses awards and tracking the final result! For those who are curious, looking back over the threads I counted twenty ballots cast this time. There were twenty-two last quarter and fourteen for Q1.

Regarding splitting/expanding the Other category. Since Imperator has experienced somewhat of a revival, maybe split that one into its own thing? Though I'm also for giving the misc. area six slots.

Well, first I’d like to address the EU IV voting… I’m thrilled to see @jak7139 take the gold award for EU IV! It’s very much deserved! And great to see Dreams of Frisian Freedom and The Wars of the Roses near the top also – very great and deserving works!

Thank you for those of you who placed Rex Germania in 2nd place for EU IV and tied Shining Stars for 1st in Victoria! Congratulations @Nikolai for your shared first place for Dreams of Elysium! And, of course, thank you very much for running and tabulating these contests!

Congratulations to @Cora Giantkiller for a great win for CK III! I’ve read spots here and there, and I know it’s high quality. I haven’t had a chance to invest the time to catch up or anything, but I’ll try when I can.

Congratulations, of course, to @Bullfilter, whose name is all over these results. :D And to @Chac1 and @Sanvone.

@Side congratulations on 1st place for Stellaris – I still intend to start reading your AAR because it sounds interesting, and I know it has a huge fan base because it’s great!

@The Kingmaker congratulations for your win for Omentide! And @VILenin congratulations on a strong 2nd place there for To Boldly Go!

It occurs to me that there were A LOT of ties and near ties for the top ranks, meaning that there’s real quality and real competition in most of these game categories! It’s great to see!

Great work everybody – the writers, the voters, @Nikolai, @Nikolai's wife, everyone! Thank you all for participating in AARLand!

Congratulations to all the winners, and a big thank you @Nikolai for running the awards! I love the opportunity to recognize the great writing talent here on the forums and raise the visibility of some different AARs. I know I found a few new reads from people's voting ballots.

Also a big thank you to everyone who voted for my AAR despite it's long break and irregular updating! When the winner is @The Kingmaker 's own excellent AAR, it's a very proud 2nd place. Speaking of whom, thank you for your very generous words! I think it's great that there was so much interest in AARs in the "Other" category, despite them occupying the out-of-the-way corners of the forum.

Regarding the Other category, I agree that it would be tricky to split it up into more categories given the way the titles are spread out, although if Imperator continues its resurgence then maybe it would be able to support one on its own. That might be a good topic to revisit in Q1 of 2025. Another option would be to raise the number of voting slots to six and maybe give the award to the top two AARs to help spread the love (and I'm not just saying that as someone who came in 2nd place ;) ).

Congratulations to all the winners and the excellent works denied a win due to the cruel whims of misguided voters.

As a connoisseur of that most prestigious and elite category, Other, I feel I have something to contribute here. The data shows that Imperator had 5 nominees, which is the same as the Vick2/3 category, I had a look back at Q2 (3 I:R nominees) and Q1 (4 I:R). From that perspective it's a bit marginal. However, there could be I:R AARs that are getting crowded out by being in Other. A quick look at the forum suggest there were 7 eligible AARs for Q3, so.. maybe?

If I:R manages a strong Q4 showing, as in still have more than 6 or so eligible works and at least 4 of them getting a vote, I would support it getting it's own category back.

Cheers and congratulations to the champions!
Definitely deserved distinctions.

Thank you to all who nominated my work, immense appreciation for your support.

Im in agreement that I:R should get it's own category, it is clear that im an incorregible romaboo despite the end of official development the community remains alive and vibrant. I hope that the creation of a separate category will, in it's own little way, legitimize the game as standing on it's own two sandal-wearing feet.

with siex points each on second place.
Minor spelling mistake. Cry havoc!
Woe!

The ladies' room with Victoria II and 3 saw only five AARs voted in, with a tie for first place between @Nikolai

Ah, a tale as old as AARland itself it seems ;) . Congrats to all the winAARs and nominees, and special thanks once again to Nikolai for keeping this awAARd up!

Congratulations to every writer who made it to @Nikolai's results page. You've put so much time and effort into those stories and we're so happy to give you the recognition you've earned.

Also, I'm very humbled to see two of my own AARs got votes this time around. Thank you all for your support!

My apologies first for not getting a ballot together this time around - exigencies of RL demands got the better of me and I failed to get it done :( Bad and naughty me! I’ll do better next time, by which time the RL madness should have abated.

But it’s good to see many voters this time around to support @Nikolai‘s great work and that of all the writers nominated. Congratulations to every single authAAR mentioned and especially to the esteemed winners and ‘medallists’ on the podium in each category. And a big thank you for the support shown for my AARs - it’s really appreciated.
