I just bought the game and installed the 1.01 patch and I was playing for over 3 hours straight than all of the sudden I started experiencing a CTD every couple minutes, id load up my latest save and it would crash again a couple minutes later, someone told me there wasn't much I could do about it but wait for the 1.02 patch, is there an estimate on when it might be out? I've really been enjoying the game though untill I met this bug.
 
Can you give us any more precise details about when/why the crash is occuring? Does it always happen at the same date? Do you have any guesses as to what is causing it? The more info you can give us here, the greater the likelihood of it being corrected in the next patch.

AFAIK Paradox is trying very hard to ensure that 1.02 will be available before Christmas (see Uglyduck's stickie in the GD forum) but this depends as much (if not more) on the publishers as it does on the developers.
 
See the sticky thread on the subject at the top of the general discussion forum. Post bugs in the bug forum, make sure you read the sticky threads at the top of the bug forum before posting though.
