question about MP

Is there a certain website where you can play europa universalis, or is it where you simply go to the multiplayer while on the internet and it will automatically connect you to some network? Or is it neither and the only way someone can play is through ip connection?

I am not aware of anyplace that supports MP via its link/network, I checked MPlayer, its not there as a selectable game, nor does it come up on gamespy. I believe the only way you can play MP is via the MP function ingame via IP connection from the host to whomever is going to play. You can also link a few puters together locally and have a LAN party if you have enough buddies whom are intrested, and you have the space, time, and beer to support such a party :}.
