Question about the game compatibility with vista and the quad core

I am about to buy a new computer (to be able to go farther than 1944 in my games without lagging) and I was wondering if hoi2:dd or armagedon are supporting both vista 64 bit and the quad core or atleast the dual core?

Arma running fine here (Q6600 with Vista x64 and 4gb), I doubt HOI makes use of the quad though, so depending on what you have now you might not see a huge improvement

Only difference I notice is that the saves files are in a different folder than XP, the game still crashes from time to time but I had that with xp too

EUIII, viky and CK are running fine too
