Hello, I would like to create my own train station, but unfortunately I don't have the possibility to specify the point where a train should spawn.

Only get the message, path not found.

I recommend getting Advanced Buildings Editor from the workshop. Make sure to enable it before loading up your station in the asset editor. It has a little menu in the top left corner and there's a button for auto placing spawn points. That should fix it for you.

Also just to make sure, you're using the special station tracks right and not just a normal track?

Thanks to the mod I hadn't thought about it before.

As far as Train Station Tracks are concerned, the only difference to normal Train Tracks is that the Train Station Tracks have a pedestrian walkway, which is necessary to set a stop at all.

What distinguishes the Train-Station Tracks from normal train tracks is that the Train-Station Tracks are longer than normal segments, normally all 12 raster blocks are started with a new segment, in between there is a node, the Train-Station Tracks at the normal station are 15 raster blocks long.

But how can I get longer trains into a self-made station?

Tested it, created a Train-Station Track in the Road-Editor and then extended it in the game with the "Move-it" mod, but as soon as this over 22 raster-blocks comes up, no path will be found.

For example, how does the Berlin Central Station from the workshop work?

Thanks a lot for confirming, I've already thought about the Move-it mod and I've already found out about the maximum.

A Train-Station Track can be a maximum of 176 meters long, I measured it with a narrow road parallel after, there are 22 raster blocks, I calculate the width of the road in addition at both ends I come to 26 raster blocks which corresponds then altogether 208 meters, 1 raster block has 8 meters.

Thanks again, only ask me how this Berlin Central Station works out of the workshop, it is much longer.

The station works with the Extra Train Station Tracks (ETST-Mod).

Need to take a closer look at the station, see if I can find out how it's done.

But also think that a Train-Station Track and Normal Train Track is used here.
