First, let me say that this is a great forum that has a ton of information - the forum has already answered a lot of my questions without even having to post a question (such as how to maximize system resources, game play elements, etc.).
(This is my first post here)
My question concerns how the game will perform on my system (I want to buy this game but am a bit concerned if my system can handle it). My system specs are:
Dell Inspiron 8100 (notebook)
Windows XP SP2
Pentium III 1000 MHz
RAM 256 Mb
3D Video Card 32 Mb
12 Gb Free Hard Disk Space
So I meet and exceed the minimum required specs and meet the recommended specs except for the processor.
Now I've seen mentioned in this forum that meeting the minimum specs will allow one to run the game but not as a fully functional version. I assume this means that one might have to go without the music or reduce graphics for example. Correct? Reduced graphics...in what way?
Also, I've read in this forum that the game can be run at different speeds (Normal, Fast, etc.). I understand that this "speed" refers to how fast the game turns elapse, but will my specs handle running the game at the "normal" setting (I have no desire to blitz through the game) efficiently?
Apologies for the long post, but I just want to make sure I understand how my hardware specs will interact with the game before spending the cash.
