I was just trying the complete difficult mission victory criteria for the first time, but I don't seem to be able to see what the mission is for my country, or any other. It does the same thing for both the GC and IGC 2.2. I click on the missions icon and there is a list of missions to pick from, but after completing these my victory percentage stays at zero. I assume there is something I'm missing here. Thanks for the help.

It sounds like victory points are not turned on. Prior to EU1.09, the default was for victory points to be turned off (why???). Anyway if I am understaning correctly, you may be out of luck. I don't think you can turn victory points on once you start a game. To turn VP's on, you click the "options" or some such in the scenario selection dialog.

Unless he means the mission based victory conditions for a scenario like for example the Great Northern War has.

In that case some scenarios don't take to those criteria well. Try the Great Northern War to see how it should go. IF another scenario doesn't work the same way, I think it wasn't made to be played that way.

It was something to do with running the Tutorial scenario, which automatically set them to off, and nobody remembered to go and change them back to On when running any other scenario.

So I take it that the complete mission to win method of victory only works for scenarios where a specific mission has been laid out for each country. So I take it this isn't a valid method for determining victory in a general GC or IGC game. Too bad. That would have been an interesting way of playing, but I guess it'd be hard for the AI to assign fitting missions to everybody.
