Question - Randomly Generated Worlds

I've searched these forums, looked on other sites for information but that came to no avail. If I happen to not want to play the already solid world that this series is set in, is there an option for me to play in a complete randomly generated world? Just a quick question, since I'm really looking forward to this game, and I like knowing everything before I buy.

AFAIK the maps in this game are always randomly generated. Only in the demo you always play on the same map.

As I gather there is no solid world, just the world of Ardania as a setting.
Every time the game generates a random world for you, according to parameters you give it.

Yea, pre-ordered before playing the demo and the demo tells me that I did everything right ;-)
So addicted to this game - great one !
