So now I'm trying to set up a secret weapon event that is triggered by an event for specific nations. This event is set up like the Tripartite Pact event and works much the same way: one nation receives the event, then based on its choice of action fires additional events for other countries, those countries may accept or decline. I want to make it so that when they accept, they get access to this secret weapon branch. The parent country gets access through any choice however.

I was thinking of using flags at first, but I don't really understand how they work exactly and couldn't find any real instance to examine as an example. I also realized halfway through that I didn't know how I would make that work either. So I was hoping some one here could tell me that I'm stupid and offer a mind-boggling simple solution to this problem. Or a not-so-simple solution, either one is fine.

If you want to look at some of the event information yourself for some reason just mention it and I'll post it separately.
