Hello all,

Been playing Eu2 for many a year, but never played multi-player as no one I know enjoys this game like I do. I've a few questions:

What speed are games usually played on? I'm a constant "pause" player and am wondering if the action will move too fast for me.

How does one go about getting a game? I see lots of threads, (most of them several hundred posts long) but am not sure how to get into a game.

Usually games are played at below normal or normal, with perhaps a slowing down to slow when there is an important war. Pressing pause is very much frowned upon though, so I suggest you get rid of that habit

As for getting into a game, you'd best start subbing first, check around this forum in the game threads if anyone needs a sub (for example, tomorrow Portugal in Chill 2 needs subbing, check my sig).

Also, read all the newbie guides that are stickied on this forum.

If you dont have ICQ, get it!
Cause sometimes you get a chance to sub in short time notice.
The "Can you play now?" question is fairly common.
and show the vets that you are dependable and not offensive
and sooner or later you will have a perm spot in a game.
