I've scanned some savegames on that gamestats server and some threads here, but don't seem to find what Im looking for - an MP game, where someone plays one of the following nations:

China
Timurids->Mughals
Japan
Hyderabad/Vyjanagar
Mali/Songhai
Ethiopia/Nubia
or other ROTW nations and survives (up to the last date of game available)

If you know of any lemme know!:)

Thanks,
bT

I have never heard of such a game.

The closest I can think of is New Order IV where Babur played the Mughals so skillfully that no one dared to attack him. The GM Hive became so disappointed because of this - since he, like so many other, are a little primitive and consider war the preferred way of competition with other players :p - and thus he moved Babur to the USA around 1730 IIRC.

Later on, in the 1860s, Babur got attacked by the English and Confederates and was hopelessly lost and thus asked for permission to quit and got it and that ended that campaign prematurely (we played with the extended time patch). Another nice ending to a campaign down the drain. :(

Peter Ebbesen played Persia with great succes in Europe Unleashed: Reloaded. Link in my sign.

Edit:
There's also the old game Destiny of Nations 2 where Peter and Wyvern played Persia and the Mughal Empire, opposing Napoleon France (played by RedPhoenix).

Edit 2:
And Throne of Heaven 1 took part in Asia, with countries like China and Vijanagar being played. That was a RPG game without the historical events though. Link also in my sig.

Temu played Mughals in EGA3 if I am correct. I 've heard he did pretty well.
And Pibe played Mughals in The Time Machine. That game did end prematurely, but AFAIK the OE-Mughal alliance was very strong.

Indeed, Temujin played Mughals in EGA3 and he was one of the winners decided by the group (as long with France and Ottoman Empire - yes OE and Mughals were winners... how? They were dating since the first day of the game  ).

Peter Persia in Reloaded was a Persia that converted the OE (human) to shiite. Best screenshot bar nonce.

And in Destiny of Nations 2, some years before Nappy I think, Persia and Mughals attacked and defeated France (and it was a extremely powerful France). And they got french provinces in the peace.

That's a really sad story, I'd never play with such and a*****e again.

I will try to find all the games you named here (if not link given). Wish me good luck!:)

Thanks, Im already scanning the gamestats server and found the mentioned 'New Order IV' game.
I understand why Hive banished him to other place - he was often surpassing Hive in tech with far inferior techgroup, not even talking about the DP advantage and the size of empire.

Hmm, spying out the land in advance, are you? :) You might note that since Cyrus quit, the KoJ is open if you want it. Plenty of expansion opportunities down the east coast of Africa, through the ME into India, and even up through the Caucasus striking for Siberia.

You might wanna take a look of a nice experiment that some guys in the Spanish Forum are on: Muyahidines y Samurais MP (registered by AndyKayssa ;) ), I know it's in spanish but you can see that those guys are playing with this roster: Morocco, The Mameluks, OE, Persia, Crimea, Uzbek, Timur, Bengala, Malacca and Japan. Of course they have edited out the scenario (they started in 1492)... Here's the stats link of that MP, I believe that you can download the savefile of 1492 and you'll get the starting scenario that they build.... :)

You know very well that's not why I moved Babur. Every player takes up bandwith space - and I simply could not see any reason to waste a spot on a distant, eastern nation that had NO contact with any European nations - and have potentially important European/North American nations AI. Babur is an extremely good hypertecher, he played the Mughals well. But his nation added NOTHING to the game, and I couldn't defend wasting a player on that nation while letting perfectly good European nations go AI one after one (like eg. Denmark).

I know you don't agree with my view on this, but to say that I moved him because all I can think of is unlimited warfar or some shit... well, that's just not fair.

Well. I find it extremely odd that you can call a person who you do not know in ANY way, and have only heard about in 1 single sentence from 1 single person, such a harsh word. In fact, you don't have a clue what you're talking about. So how can you judge me? Not very mature or intelligent, if you ask me.

Call me something like that again, and I'll report you to the mods for unjust and unfounded slander.

Again, not knowing what the hell you're talking about doesn't seem to stop you from talking. Why is that? I find that odd. Very odd behaviour indeed.

You have NO IDEA at all why I moved Babur. Because if you had, you'd realise that it sure as hell weren't because he surpassed me in tech (which, btw, I can't recall him doing... in fact, it should be impossible). And if you knew me just a little, which you obviously don't, you'd also know that I don't measure EU2 success in the provinsial size of my empire. *I* don't feel I need to compensate for anything... I can't talk for you, of course.

Most true dear Hive. For some reason people (most likely to suck up to the developers) choose Sweden to be play. But that's wrong, wrong i tell you. Denmark is far more important and should always be played :D

How hard is it to get a massive nation when youre not even in the risk of being attacked?

You overreact. Hive is one of the more respected players of the community, although hes been really lazy and stopped playing a while ago.

ah the same bin travkin who came into our ck game and started posting slander against me. After 1 session he acted not only like he owned the game; but that he knew everything that went, and had gone on in it.

ah that bin travkin. welcome to the eu community :p

Well...he said he read everything we have posted. But they can only give so much justice to what really happened.

EDIT: 1'800 post...ever increasing towards 3'000 posts.
