So i really love the Elder kings mod, and one th things i wanted to change in my game myelf was the slavery system. Wasn't sure if i could talk about that here or not so let me know since ik now the is a touchy subject but i wanted to ask.

But i wanted to see if it's possible to take the slavery system from AGoT and put into Elder kings? Mostly just the modifer for the counties and for characters to leave your court if you enslave them and they stay there till you decide otherwise.

It's unlikely that individual courtier-slaves will be present in Elder Kings. While the slavery system will be seeing some reworking in the future, it is likely to continue focusing on the enslavement of large portions of provincial populations, as was common among many of Tamriel's slaving peoples, rather than the establishment of court positions for slaves.

That would be nice to see improvements to it.

So there wouldn't be a way for someone to change the files them selves to where they could to allow that. How would i go about doing that and not mess up the game?

I believe there's a mod on the workshop and moddb called "Sinful Slavery" which, shockingly, includes slavery mechanics. Its not a particularly heavy mod, and I think you could extract the individual slavery from the files without much effort. Though that would depend on how much you already know.

This is one of those things where it's techiclly possible but these sorts of systems tend to hook into just about everything in the game, Agot and all it's events account for the slavery system, Elder Kings don't and you will be fighting a uphill battle to integrate it.

Basically are you willing to spend dozens of hours porting a system for an ok ish result at best that will stop you from updating Elder Kings in the future unless you are willing to compatch your own work each update?

And thats the one thing i was worried about. But i guess i would be willing to, including if it adds something more interesting.
