Is there a way, preferably a simple way, to change the unit graphics for the cultures of the GOT mod? For example: the Ironborn use norse units, the Northmen use saxon units, and the Andals use Celtic units. Maybe the Valyrians and free cities could use eastern or byzantine units. The wildlings might look awesome with the finnish unit set.

I don't want to change up the portraits or building graphics. I want to leave those alone. I just think the armies could use some flavor.

Thanks in advance!

There is a way. But as the mod is committed to not making any DLC a requirement to play, a culture which uses a graphical DLC must also have a secondary non DLC graphical culture set for the game to default to if the DLC is not present. An example would be the Summer Islander, who use the African graphics but will default to Muslim if African DLC is not active.

Unfortunately as most of the cultures in the mod already use a custom graphics set for portraits and buildings set it gets complicated. For example if I wanted the Wildlings to use the Finno Ugric DLC, I could set that as their primary graphics with the regualr Northman graphics as secondary. However that would apply the Finno Ugric portraits to the Wildlings as well because the game would take the DLC as a whole not just pieces.
In order to only take the specific units and leave the portraits as they currently are, we would have to add all the specific DLC unit sprites into our already existing custom cultures. This would make that DLC a requirement to play the mod as without it the game would CTD the minute a Wildling raised his troops or a player tryed to view a Wildling character.

If you have all the DLC, Calantyr's Graphical Cultures immersion submod does exactly what you are looking for. It can be found in the submod section at the Citadel forums.

That mod crashes when using for me. Maybe a submod in the installer that u can check if u have all DLC?
