Lossless? I don't really know how this bug tracker works btw, ill check it tomorrow.

Most people are uploading the .pngs ck2 makes by default and not converting to jpg. Png is generally lossless, it doesn't lose quality when you save it (or if it does, it's not noticeable), while jpg does lose quality but it has a small file size thus it loads quicker and doesn't need as much server space (not that i'm struggling for space but you never know what the future brings).

Oh yeah true, I was playing as a Colovian though, and yes it's a man with a female name married to a guy! (I think it's the barony of wayrest's wife/husband)

Edit: it is, Rosalyn Eardwulf is the man/woman! (he's married to the starting gardner baron of wayrest)

Yes its the barony of Wayrest.

Seriously, no answer for the High Hrothgar question? Nothing about likelihood, percentages, requirements? Its not like the event came down from the heaven and was coded by a fairy.

Also, Law Dog and Easter Egg - every character has them and its pointless, immersion breaking clutter. Get rid of them.

How on earth did you get Law Dog?
It's not obtainable via event or decision, it can only be obtained via the console.

edit: Oh nevermind, I see it snuck in there.
edit: No that's an inheritance event requiring a character to already have it. So have to ask, how the hell did you get Law Dog?

Are you sure that none of your other traits have changed to odd things, for instance by continuing an old save in a new version of the mod?

Well, that might be it, since I lost my Companion bloodline and had those things appear instead and other characters had the weirdest things happen to them as well. And yes, I continued my old save.

Also, seriously, is High Hrothgar some freaking secret around here?

Well, there you go. The latest version is not compatible with old saves, as you've found out.

What has High Hrothgar got to do with anything?

Nothing, is just that I've asked about the pilgrimage event before several times and I got no answer to it at all. Sorry if I'm being annoying over it, I'll just dig it up out of the files.

Judging just from personal experience, any Nord can go on pilgrimage to High Hrothgar once in their life and it's almost impossible to reach the top. I've only ever managed stage 6 or 7. As you might expect, the ultimate reward is learning to use your Thu'um.

Yeah, the best I ever had was 8th emblem. So far the only thing that seemingly affected it was the overall stat levels of the character, with the genius Jarl of mine getting to the said 8th emblem. I was just curious if there are any specific percentages that are there to estimate likelihood of getting to the top.

The exact percentages will be listed in the events files, but I'm afraid I don't know which one.

A question regarding cabals: how do they work in the latest version? From time to time I get the event pop-up that a cabal has set up in one of my provinces. The only option is then to dispatch a guard regiment, which seems to work fine, the province in question gets a modifier which increases garrison size, etc. and some other province gets a modifier which decreases garrison size. But that's all that happens. Neither do I get any other modifier, nor does anything happen if I just ignore the event after that (so I'm not sending my court wizard to deal with the cabals). In older versions, cabals could convert the province in which they were in to a Daedra cult. Is there anything I'm missing?

i just discovered some Aylieds in with the bosmer and i gotta ask, Anything special for them? I'm asking mostly for clarification, if it's worth it to recapture the imperial isle then i definitely want to make the attempt. Even if it's only a flavor text
I believe the only special thing for the Ayleids is a unique mercenary group and unique names for the High Kingdom of Valenwood (Valetar) and Morrowind (Resdaynia). A lot of territories in Cyrodiil gets renamed to older Merish names when you conquer them, but that's the case for most of the Mer races.

More is coming.

The reason I and no one else has answered is that it's Amauri's baby and he's currently on holiday ;)
