can i use shattered world to create a world different from europe? or will it just shuffle around existing cultures/countries into different positions?

if its not possible to do this can you recommend a mod that does this? Adds different landmass than europe, with unique culture, names and conventions.

Got it unzipped into My Documents, and now when I try to load with Elder Kings on it just straight crashes. I don't get it?

Are you using the right version of CK2 for your download of the mod? Cause the SVN and the latest regular release use two different versions, SVN using the latest version of CK2 and the release using 3.01.1

how do you remove hats from characters? i dont see the option under barber

You can't remove hats. this is a vanilla problem, and not something that modmakers can really fix, unless they choose to remove all headgear and replace them with hair variants including the headgear, which I would consider to be far too much work for far too little gain.

Im sure it's been asked. But any chance that allowing de jure drift to work for titular kingdoms? Im playing as a Aylied from Greyleaf and got the Aransel of Atyle kingdom title and almost all of valenwood. Im going after Kingdom of Falinesti and Archen and i don't want to form the Valenwood kingdom title but rather a Ayleid one. >:3

But i got most of the duchies under me, only ones remaining is Arenthia and Haven. Along with 2 nations that will soon be defeated that is between me and Elsweyr, and the Kingdom of Falinesti and for some reason High fane of Orgnum in Greenshade after a rebellion happend and got left with 2 counties and even jailed by a petty chief thats under his one vassal XD

I've just recently updated the SVN, and was immediately interested in the scion events. I was just curious to what extent these were playable, and how exactly would one go about ahieving daedric scion/vampyric scion, and what effects these had on gameplay?

A quick question on Great Works. I understand GW are not necessarily a primary focus at the moment but, considering how it's possible to play immortal rulers in EK, one of the big things (at least for me) is building long lasting wonders in the lands ruled by an immortal character. I understand some very specific GW not available due to conflicting lore, but some others I do not see why are not left intact from vanilla CK2.

To this end I was thinking about adding them myself (the coding is not too difficult), but then I thought there might be a good reason for the EK team, maybe events and some other code, to leave many GW out of EK. If that's the case, can anyone confirm before I start messing with the code? Thanks in advance. And if the answer is no, there is no conflict, then a second question would be what's the reason to keep some of these wonders off EK. Again, thanks : )

They've just not been ported yet. I wanted to go through each wonder, tweak the upgrades and conditions in them to suit EK more but haven't gotten around to it.

I don't know if it was asked before(I couldn't find it anywhere) but how to mitigate blindness after reading elder scrolls? And if I become sightless is there any chance to remove it from character ? (If I'm sightless I shouldn't be able to read Elder Scrolls anymore, right? I'm still able to do so).

One quick question concerning the Nordic Empire - Would it be possible to remove it from the de jure setup and make it createable only through the decision similar to the Roman Empire in vanilla? That might make it possible to have the de jure capital in Windhelm where it belongs.

I just got contacted by the Dark Brotherhood, something about a lying merchant? I didn't get to read it for it popped right when I tried to click something else. Whatever it is it has me completely locked out of societies. Please help.

Edit: Nvm. My ruler just got brained by his opponent in a battlefield duel because he just had to gloat after inflicting a fatal wound :p
In the end, immortality doesn't mean invulnerability.

Well that's an anti-fun mechanic imo. If I want to savescum the mod shouldn't stop me. Besides what about excisting characters? I tried the ritual as Abnur Tharn

If you want to cheese it just use the console to add the trait and the immortal_no_cheat character flag.

It was added after a number people commented on not being able to resist savescumming but then subsequently being unhappy with their decision to do so. For those whom this does not apply for, the console gives immortality much more efficiently than needing to save and reload

Currently, what's the best way to become a vampire? Find a province with vampire infestation, make myself a general and park there? Will that work? Worship Molag Bal? Certain traits or race I should be? Trying to avoid just cheating, but what's the console command to give myself the disease?

Following Molag Bal will give you the best possible vampire form, a pureblood. Of course you can be other forms of vampire if your capital/demesne is infected and you come across a vampire and get infected, but it won't be as powerful. Another rather interesting, albeit difficult way is to befriend a vampire, as they might get an event in which they confess to being a vampire which in turn lets you ask for them to turn you into one, voluntarily. Try looking for exceptionally old short-lived races (avoid elves), get them to your court and start carousing with them until you befriend them.
