Well at first my munich events were working well, but the 24th came and went. I previously said It will not happen to the Poland claims on Cez and was going to let Hungary get its claims on Cez. But still no Munich deal. I let the game roll around till Dec 1 38 and I declared war, like I had threatened. Took all of Cez in about a month and held off the Frech from the Maginot.

Also the blasted Austrians joined my alliance instead of letting me annex them  So this game has been signficantly different from history, and has been rather fun playing things out differently.

I wonder if the Danzig events will play out now that I am already at war with the Allies. If it doesn't I will deffently DOW on my own.

"Danzig or war" wont happen because the most likely path is that Poland joins the allies in march 1939 wich put them at war with you without MR pact.
Been there myself and USSR canceled the none agressive pact. So watch out what you do, USSR might go to war early too.

The least nasty way to deal with a bad munich outcome is sit tight tile "danzig or war" and deal with CZE after poland (or at the same time).

or wait for bugfix :D

Sorry for not having answered earlier. So little time to spend on HoI and the forum... :(

Did you edit the date of the ITA event (and only for that event) as described in jisz's post. If yes, what choices have the other Great Powers taken? (I haven't looked through the whole event chain yet but I think the UK's choices are the most important ones here: interventionist vs appeasement etc.)

Regarding the Danzig or war event I think CORE used the vanilla event. So IIRC the event won't fire if Germany is already at war with the UK.

Slyguy: I think I, for some reason, replied to your post here in another thread (http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?t=229819).

I changed the ITA event to the 23 and the chain events fired fine, ie what Poland wanted and Hungary wanted but the end of chz event never fired :p niether did a CHz refuses fire, after the Hungary event it just stops. At least on mine it did.

There are something like 10 different CZE events dealing with the end of Czechoslovakia. Maybe there is some kind of loophole in the triggers that allows a constallation that neither lets the germans annex them nor declare war on them. I haven't looked through all the events yet but I'll report if I find any mistakes. Or maybe someone from the CORE team has a good idea.

Well I've finally gotten to September in my new Germany game.

Everything is going great, got Austria and now I have the Sudetenland. Apparently if you don't chose the right event in the Nuremburg Rally events you will not get the chance to do either the Austria annex or gain Sudentenland. I first picked international reconciliation for the 38 Rally, but after the month finished out I reloaded and picked celebrate the austria annex which was immediatly followed by the Germans demands rights for Germans in Sudentenland event which was followed by another string of events leading to the failed deplomacy which leads to Italy calling the Munich conferance then you go with agree with Mussilinni and then everything falls right into place you gain certain territories on certian days. not all at once like in Vanilla.

I must say to the CORE team, after finaly seeing the Munich events unfold in thier glory it is very very impressive. Great Job guys.

Thanks. I'll take extra credit since I wrote it. :D

It is a rather complex set of triggers (since they all have to exclude the others) so I wouldn't be surprised if an error has sneaked in (the multiple events deal with various outcomes of Munich chain to set various ai_chances, which governs how Czecho-Slovakia should respond based on previous happenings - if they are more likely to fold or not). I do know that there is a problem in there, which is fixed for next release, but I can't remember off the top of my head exactly which circumstance it happens in.

Slyguy - have you gotten the End of Czechoslovakia events yet and are they working?

Yes, there is great atmosphere in the Munich chain now. In vanilla you just wait to get what you want, but last night I was thrilled, glued in front of the screen, as we say in Sweden, when the Munich events unfoulded.

Thanks a lot baylox! And to all of the CORE team.

I will fill you in later tonight but as of now I'm in Feb of 39, guess I'll know around Marach? I will play through it and post to let you know but I did, as I said earlier, get the Sudetenland events to fire correctly. As soon as the events fire I will let you know.

Well My Munich worked fine as you can see, along with Austria.

I guess this is the armored unit received that is question?

EDIT: Well I"m having troubles with the posting images but I think the link will work for you.

EDIT2: Well I can't get any of the links to image shack to work :(
