When quick building if the area is too large in won't get past the foundations stage as the builders start replacing the concrete that is already there creating an endless loop and purchasing more and more concrete. Doing smaller areas helps as the builders do it quicker. Building the foundations first doesn't help as the builders replace the existing concrete anyway. If you have multiple quick build areas you can't prioritise an area as it the concrete gets shared between the building areas marking area 1 as high priority marks all the materials as urgent even if they are meant for a different area, the builders then run out of concrete so bring more over and the circle repeats.

Windows are also a little interesting as the quick build likes to demolish the wall then rebuild it to place the window.
