I really don't know how to mod, but I'll try to do this ASAP until PDS patches this game. The idea of this mod is to create a slave-robot dichotomy. If you think about it, both got the same gameplay functionality: they are great at mineral and food and quite bad at energy and research.

So the idea is to map robot and slaves to two opposing ethoes. If collectvists is still the "optimum slave" ethos, Individualist must be the "optimum robot" ethos. If materialist got bonuses to robots, spiritualist must have bonuses to slaves, and so on. So ethos, governments, policies and research weights should be retinkered to work in this idea.

Hope I end satisfied with the results, even if I got no experience with modding whatsoever.

Reactions:
While slaves and robot got some similarities in their role and bonus, they will play very differently from what I've seen, so it's not apples-vs-apples if you know what I mean. Upkeep costs, potential uprising (global virus), habitability etc.

I think there is a way to reason that leads to individualists would be better at integrating robots into the populace, but from a gameplay perspective I need more testing before knowing for sure :)

Also, are robots considered Xenos? If the maker race programs its own ethics and moral into the robot, maybe it's more like semi-xeno or something (thinking about the xenophobia vs xenophile interplay with individualist)

You're right. I'm gonna experimente with the base game before starting this Project.
