Quick question about mods

I got the game Sunday and love the game. But I hear mention of mods on this board and was wondering where you can get them? Also I heard mention of a version 1.09 beta patch where can I get that? I did update to version 1.08 via the patch. Normally I would try to search the board here but search seems to be broken for me.

look at the top of your screen, see all the menu items? well click on scenarios and you should be able to download IGC 1.09c plus a hole bunch of other player-made scenarios.

One more question. I was up until 3 am learning how to play this wonderful game so this is most likely just as obvious as my last question. Where is the scenarios editor?

notepad

all files are editable using notepad and the layout is in HURF (Human Readable Form).

If you go to the scenario forum you'll find tons of tricks and tips.

I havn't heard about it, so it probably dosn't excist yet.
Your probably talking about the 1.9 ICG mod (not 1.09).
It's very often misspelled on the forums =)
