Silly question:
I can't install the mod.
I downloaded the installer (Version 1.3.3) and when I launch it it says ''Error opening file for writing'' for every file.
Tried running it as Administrator just in case but still no luck.

Try downloading the .rar file, extract and put it in the mod folder instead of using the installer. Worked for me.

Someone may have asked this question before, but how do you get an heir as a Skaven? Moreso how can I do this as clan Volkh at fire mountain when I am not able to construct breeding pits? Unless breeding pits have nothing to do with it, I can never figure out how to get breeders.

A couple of Qs.

(1) How does the math behind the scenes on Greenskin cleansing go? Some provinces I've cleansed in a single go, others I've blown ~10,000 gold on in the Borderlands and have had ~50 attempts in a row fail. Is there some specific hidden prerequisite I'm not meeting?

(2) Asrai colonization. Is there a culture change mechanic here? I don't quite understand how it works. Is it just a regular conquest CB and culture changes the normal way over time?

Greenskins are hard to scrub out of their "native" terrain (Forest Goblins and forest provinces, for example) and even harder to purge in the Badlands and the Darklands. Normal odds of success are 80%, while in the Badlands it's 13,3% not factoring in terrain, if my math checks out.

If you mean Asur colonisation, that's mostly a renamed Holy War CB.

Is there a manual floating around out there somewhere? Coming back after a while of not playing, and a lot of things have changed. Specifically, I'm trying to figure out how to become a chaos cultist as a Bretonnian, given that I don't see any recruiting options for secret socieites.

Would it be conceivably canon to play as a fimir nagashi necromancer? Also, are there plans to give fimir feudal cultural buildings?

Hello. I started playing for the orcs and I don't understand how to play for them. As far as I understood, it is necessary to arrange Waaagh! sometimes. But how exactly to arrange them, I do not understand. The system changes from warband to nomadic, which is why I lost my entire army. Then, a few years later, an event came to me that said about a failed Waaagh! and after that my country fell apart.

Hi there, firstly let me apologies if this question has been asked a million times before but whilst I did try searching I am not exactly too knowledgeable about how the Paradox forums function and as a result all I managed to find was confusion.

Ok my problem is essentially this, I am currently playing as Setra with the Tomb Kinga and have recently conquered the two ork held provinces that make up my de jure territory. I've successfully expunged the greenskin infestation from the first (the second has only just been conquered) and as such the territory is now culturally mine, however the religion is that of one of the neighbouring kingdoms and I am at a loss as to how to convert it to my own. I know ordinarily that this is done via your religious leader, however that doesn't appear to be an option for me via the council screen.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated as I am unable to upgrade the holding to a castle and as such am stuck with an essentially worthless province.

Thanks in advance and all the best,
Bill

Are Norscans supposed to be able to upgrade their tribal holdings into castles or cities for free? There does not appear to be any other condition but to have province religion match the ruler's. It feels off when as soon as I unpause a new game, much of the Norscan peninsula immediately goes for holding conversion. Civilizing such inhospitable land should be an achievement, not trivial. And then you get to add more dirt cheap tribal holdings to convert. The player can be smart enough to build up a core demesne first, but AI does not compute that it cannot afford to build up its new holdings with zero to few buildings. For some reason many counties end up with a city capital barony.

Tomb kings have pretty nasty restrictions on expansion. Purging greenskins or skaven is pretty much the only way they can spread their culture. I am uncertain why it did not change the religion like it does for me when Vlad purges them further North. Unless you feel like landing some living Nehekka vassals, expanding beyond Nehekhara seems problematic. Perhaps you could raise their children to proper culture and religion?

Tomb kings sadly do not feel like very playable to me. More of an AI threat to any nearby nations. Perhaps unify Nehekhara once, though it is hardly a challenge with Settra. Then wait for the overhaul to get to them and hope for the best.

Back when necromancy could spawn free, permanent event troops that reinforced, it was a nice source of wealth for my vampires. Might still be viable with sufficient retinue maintenance discounts or non-reinforcing event troops. Prepare for surprise mechanics if you try to replicate this get rich quick scheme with a mortal character.

How can I switch from Chaos Undivided to exclusively worshipping a single Chaos god? There's a decision to do so in the Chaos offmap interface (under the button for each of the respective gods), but the requirements for that decision are impossible to fulfill, since they target the wrong character (not the player character)

Apologies if this has already been asked

Is there no racial buffing when it comes to troops via culture? I played as the Druchii and were slaughtered by humans in a 3 to 1 fight. All of my commanders were great, was on favorable terrain with them having a river crossing penalty, so I was surprised haha.

That checks out. However, what if I told you... that if you play Nomads (Ungol cossacks, Arabyan beduins) you can pillage everything in a province? Then it *will* switch to your culture and religion. XD

Interesting, what was your troop composition? If the humans were mostly elite Heavy Cavalry + Heavy Infantry and you had a generic balanced army, it makes sense for them to pwn you in the melee phase. If they were all horse archers and light cavalry, in the skirmish phase.
