Well, if that happens on the province level that would represent one of the races beating in the heads of the other and dominating the province. Character-level conversion would be a bug.

I see. Is there any sort of reworking being planned for the beastmen? Their mechanics seem quite awkward and half done, especially the integration with the regular nomad mechanics.

Not really.
They have already received nomadic retinues. The only change for the next version is that they won't have the conquest cb anymore, just migration.

Hey, how do I turn my feudal vassals into king tier electors, as an Imperial? From what I understand, you can only do it to those in the "urban feudal" system, which are only the electors from what I can see, but all other vassals are "feudal", so I can give the king tier titles in the Empire.

Once you give a feudal lord a title they will automatically become Urban Feudal (as long as they are not too foreign).

However, there is a bug that prevent Urban Feudal or Imperial government lords from giving kingdoms to non-same gov rulers, so you need to either use the console, or add can_grant_kingdoms_and_empires_to_other_government = yes to their sections under in the feudal_goverments file.

EDIT: Give them a King or emperor tier title, that is.

Are you sure that's why they die? If they're executed, there should be the name of the executioner on their skull, what does it say?

Well the Executioner is myself ... but like i said, there is no Event poping up. I just get the message, that my Familymember died. cause i allways send my 3rd born away to be educated in Loren. Some come back with the Apprentice Trait and become Mages after some Time. But then they get executed, somettimes it take a couple of years before that happens, sometimes only a few weeks.

If there's no Witch Hunter in your court, it must be something else, I don't know what it could be, especially if it doesn't send you a warning. What kind of ruler is yours?

At the Moment, my Ruler is a female Wisslander. And no, there are no Witch Hunters at my Court, there are some in my Realm though in the Courts of my Vassals. If i reload a autosave after one of my Mages got executed, 9 of 10 Times the Mage lives for another few Months before the Execution happens again. So its no Bug i guess, just some kind of Event for the Char that happens i suppose.

Yes, it must be an event, I don't know which one could be, though.

The mod is already compatible with the current version of CK2, try and reinstall it.

Does the "Light foot leader" trait improve the skeletons from graveguard retinue/necromancy summons?

edit
Oh, and if I have vassal mages as my commanders, will they cast spells during battles?

I'm not sure, they are special units, but they are defined as a light infantry type.

Yes, mage commanders should cast magic.
