Sadly no, the code assigning the caste traits is in more than one file and pretty complex, else I would have posted a quick fix days ago.
Ok. I guess I will try to juryrig or play with the next version if don't have time.

So, what's the best way to keep a hold on my vampire children? When I keep them at my court, I constantly get bothered with their requests to get some landed title. I can deny their request, but that adds a -50 opinion penalty, which stacks multiple times and has seemingly infinite duration. However, if I comply to their request and give them land, they leave my court, start getting bad traits (I groomed this children since birth to be my spymaster/marshal/chancellor/etc.) and - worst of all - start to create new vampires and adopt them into the family. I understand that lore-wise vampires are very individualistic, etc. but their must be a way to at least prevent them from creating new vampires.

Why would you worry about it? You're immortal anyways, stop having/making so many children!

Well you can make people you like vampires and make them chancellor or other roles, you don't need to make them heirs. If you just have one heir you won't have that many problems if you don't land him. If he gets killed just make heir another one. You can do that even if you refused his request earlier. Or you can go with it and have fun watching the family wars for power :)

But they were there when I became a vampire :( (as in: they were my biological children)

Pity I can't do anything about it really. Kinda hoped that I can have a very exclusiv ruling elite ruling over human lords.

If it makes you feel any better, that is still doable. From the sound of it, you started as Vladdie von Carstein, who really likes his sons and had the most spread-out case of vampirism.
Come next version, there are some vampires that won't spread EVER, and the others are kinda harsh on the requirements they see for recruits.

One can make an exclusive undead elite ruling over human lords. Obviously the exclusive elite will start plotting for power against itself.

Another question about the tomb kings. I am currently ill so I had time to jury-rig the servant thing. It appears it works now but I am not 100% sure due to the sheer amount of code that this mod has. Was it just caused by the inheritance events for religious orders and theocracies?

Edit: Event DR_startup.2 and DR_startup.3

Not just that, it is also a problem within racial_decisions.

Im playing as dwarves and I can not hire an engineer (when I click to hire immediately window is disappearing and gold is not taken) is the feature broken?

You can only get an engineer if there is actually an engineer courtier in Zhufbar. Stunties are also rather placeholder right now, so don't expect them to work at 100%.

You probably shouldn't play dwarfs as they are currently placeholder and many of their features are missing or broken.

Where in the game files can I look up how to become or the chance of becoming a Champion of a Chaos god? Each of the 4 can have champions can't they? I'm trying to become a champion of Slaanesh, but I'm not sure what I should be doing to increase my chances.

S_Chaos_Events, starting at 97 for champion and 98 for chosen, 99 for prince.
Thanks very much. Looks like the main thing is accruing favour.

Is there a way to check your favour with the gods, either legitimately or with cheats? Also, I know that Chaos raids increase favour, but can anything else?

Well, there is the Chaos Subjugation CB, which - like the Chaos Raid - increases Favour by one for each won war. Much more usefull for gaining favour is sacrificing to your gods, which gets you a lot more Favour (various amounts, up to 7 AFAIK) and various other boni (magic, traits, stat boost) but costs a lot in terms of both piety and money and is rather unreliable (you can offer the largest amount of money and still get nothing). If you're playing in the Chaos Wastes, there are also some random events that can give you Favour directly, but if you're playing in the Wastes, the game does everything to screw you over, so I guess thats rather unfeasable. Additionally, having a Daemon familiar can also give you random events which CAN give Favour (at least one of the event texts indicates it), but those events are a really unreliable way to get you Favour.
Ideally, you would use the Chaos Raid not to increas Favour directly, but as a mean to get the money and piety for the sacrifices.*

I don't think there is a way to check your Favour without cheats, but it actually doesn't matter. You can't really have ENOUGH Favour, because even if you pass the Favour threshold for champion/chosen/prince, having more than the required amount of Favour improves the chance of firing the (random) event that actually gives you the champion/chosen/prince trait. And given that these events have pretty high MTTH (up to twenty years for the Prince event) you definitly want to improve your chances.

Actually, to even attempt to become a Daemon Prince you should either have a very young and/or very healthy character to ensure a long reign, as it can take a very long time for the events to fire, it takes a very long time to acquire the Favour for even making the events possible to fire, it takes a long time to get all the piety/money to acquire enough Favour, etc. You do have time until your character is 100 years old (after that the events for champion/chosen/prince can't fire anymore), but even with a lot of health you're going to get traits like incapable/infirm/etc. that also prevents the events. So I'd say 65 years is the threshold after which you can pretty much forget about becoming a Prince. And I doubt that you can easily gain enough Favour before you're 50, at least. Also, you should probably have the congenital trait that allows you to become Prince (Strong for Khorne, Beautiful for Slaanesh, Genius for Tzeentch and No-Idea for Nurgle), as there is always a chance that you'll lose the lifestyle trait that makes the event possible.

*At last that's it for Khorne, which is arguably the most difficult god for aspiring Daemon Princes, due to the lack of free piety mechanics. There could be mechanics like the quirking or the Harem for Slaanesh, which could also give Favour, but I don't know about them.
