What do you guys do to get access to duels as chaos? Wiki say target must be rival or foe. I read its possible to do a murderplot and get caught to produce a rival but surely there must be other ways? What is a foe for this purpose?
Does personal combat during regular battles count as a duel for warfocus purposes?

That's about all you can do. You can also seduce people's spouses/children and get caught. There aren't a whole lot of ways to become peoples rivals. I've never really found Duels from the War Focus all that useful, they are just more of a bonus than something you take the Focus to specifically exploit.
The best way to get duels to happen is to be a Zealous Muslim in vanilla, and constantly duel Decadent characters. I'd imagine that would work as an Ormazdian here too.
Were Jade vampires once humans that became snake-vampire people or what? The stuff I read didn't even mention they were snakes until I saw the pictures.

The Lore supplement mentions them becoming more reptilian, likely because of the influence of the Celestial Dragon Emperor blood they drank (and the powers they were absorbing).

There are three Dark Crystals to be found.
If you don't care about adventure or your poor Generaless not becoming absolutely insane, then you can look at the S_vampire_events in the events folder to find the provinces the dark crystals are found in. I am not going to list them because I wouldn't want to directly spoil any of the great adventure that is trekking through Lustria in search of a cure for your mental and physical decay.
RodriguesSting, this is to answer you question about the Generaless that was asked in the suggestion thread which is the wrong place for it. But regardless this is what I have done as the Generaless in one play through that has lasted about 70 years so far. I did replay the starting years over several times to get it to work out, and jungle revolts may mess you up more but the idea below in theory should work.
You have only 600ish troops at the start so you need to be tactical in your campaign waging. First though start off by increasing your centralization for obvious reasons. Also be sure to send you advisers to collect money and train troops in your capitol. You are immediately surrounded by a tribe of halflings and another tribe of amazons. In all my multiple starts the halflings without fail declare war on the amazons a few months into the start. Once this war has started wait a bit and then perform a jade occupation on the halflings. Despite being outnumbered the amazons should be able to defeat or maul the halflings force. This disctraction will allow you to secure two more counties and if you are lucky kill the halfling rule which will split his realm.
Now these provinces won't give you anything but it will weaken the nearby halflings with almost no cost to you. This further opens up a front on the lizardmen who aren't as aggressive expansion wise. Now you will be faced with near continual rebellions for the next few years, but that is good because they will be small and the victories give you a massive boost to prestige and clarity. Once the rebellions have stopped you could attack and destroy the amazon tribe.
Now you are surrounded by a weakened halfling tribe and non-expansionist lizardmen. You can take these years to slowly degrade and go insane, but also to focus on getting that other starting county upgraded to a castle. Feel free to give away titles to one of your courtiers so that they will make babies because otherwise your court in theory could run dry since you can't hire courtiers.
What you do from hear is up to you but I focused on trying to find the dark crystal to stop all the negatives that come without it. I also made a beeline for the arabyan colonies to get more troops long term, but it took a while coupled with lots of rebellions and worthless territory. You will need to get a third county upgraded to successfully fight the arabyans though since they have garrions around 1,000 strong and with only two c
The arabyan colonies are in the wrong direction for the dark crystal but without those troops you may have a hard time getting to it.
I haven't gotten much further than that but at the moment I feel pretty secure with how everything has gone. Now this success is coupled with the fact that for something like 10 years I went rebellion free and for some reason the jungles in my territories didn't expand. So if you are plagued with rebellions or the jungles run rampant you may have problems, but most of the rebellions are easily squashed with your starting troops and that one other county once you convert it.
I think it also gives you a small boost to military technology research when you are leading troops since I only seem to get that event with the war focus. And you can get 50 or lose 10 prestige depending on how you do in the javelin event.
I hope I am not reposting but I could not see a related q+a, I am playing as Tomb kings I was just wondering how do I pass off land? As non of my court can produce heirs. Excellent mod by the way.
Right, I started studying magic when my character was 22 because it was my first magical character and I wanted to test out making magical shit. Problem is, I'm now 55 and have NO idea how to stop, it isn't an intrigue option and isn't a personal option either. If this goes on I wont have the time left to make my potion of immortality (The one benefit has been a learning of 35 and Magic power of 4) Any idea how to stop my character being a nerd and go back outside? (I've gone through 5 regents and they have all hated me, shit needs to stop)
Will have to use the hotfix, I went for the "I'm staying in my nerd cave" because a war proc'd 3 days after I started learning and I wasn't made of money, damn event never procs again.
