Yeah, but my dream of aristocratic, openly oppressive, decadent vampire arabs.... :(

But seriously, are those the only options of becoming a vampire? Either asking your liege or seducing a vampire and hope for the best?

To be fair, A. most people don't really want to become soulless abominations of unlife for reals, and B. if they truly want to, they'll submit to a Vampire the instant they see them.
Also, Vampires should be fairly cautious about not creating more rivals over the food.

About the Daemonic Host,
My Tzeentchain character started with a 3000 unit unreinforcable retinue of Daemonic Host. I'm looking for data on this unit, and other possible similar units. While the name implies something chaos-generic, one tactic frequently employed by this unit is something called Flame Spur (I think) making it seem like they may be Flamers of Tzeentch and not just any daemon.

Are they counted as skirmishers or melee for tactics purposes? Where can I find the data on their special tactics? Do they count as any vanilla unit (ex. Horse Archers) for tactic purposes? What is "Spree" and "Shielding", two special properties this unit starts with at 0% but which is modified by their special tactics? Do they have other quirks that are not mentioned in the unit-display?

Both special units stats and combat tactics are listed in the /common folder. Daemonic Host will use specific tactics depending on the religion of its commander: if they're led by a Slaaneshi, they'll act as if they were Daemonettes, if by a Tzeentchian as if they were Flamers and so on.

Just wondering, what would happen if someone accused a witch hunter of heresy?
They would suffer a horrific, painful and most likely public death.
Except if they're a higher ranked Witch Hunter, then the WH dies.

I fucked up in my current game, I got turned by my lahmian lover. So how do I kill myself so my son can take over. My son converted to vampirism so I need to hurry up and fix my bloodline as I want to restore myrmidia. I posess a sword of destruction and a ring of protection right now, so dying battle will be hard. I also became a tyrannt but no one is plotting against me ......

If you want to increase the chance of dieing in battle, couldent you just give the items to your heir?

Cool, thats a really elegant solution. Thanks :)

I am not even sure if they have legs to ride a horse. Besides, they can fly. Either ways, necromancy is really not their thing, as the dragon blood weakened Nagash's curse on them, making less of vampires (on the conventional way, at least) and more of... well... something else.

So no necromancy.

Are certain things like a nightmare mount only possible to acquire when you have the vampire religion? I finally made my Arabyan Caliph a vampire, but of the Carstein bloodline. I then realized that Carstein vampires might actually be quite well suited to Araby.

But no option to get the nightmare mount, and he is still of the local religion (not vampire religion), thus remaining the Caliph without much of a hit on opinion.

No one even seems to think there's anything wrong about an undead Caliph.

Sorry to repeat my question but how can fix my the invisible vampire knight issiue. Anytime vampire knights models should be shown nothing is shown in it's place. They prevent me from clicking on any province in a large area because the army selected. I have no idea how to fix that myself and I would like to contine my current game.

Disband the Vampire Knights is the only solution I know about, but at least it will let you continue your game. Also don't merge them with other troops in the future, that seems to be when the problem occurs.

That makes me rather sad.

Why would you want to merge them with other, terrible in comparison, troops anyways? They can butcher almost everything by themselves. I've had the HO (about 135 at the time) stack wipe a 9k gobbie stack. They don't need to be merged with other troops most of the time haha.

Sometimes you need a bit of meat to have them survive. About 100 vk vs 5000 orcs leads to the vk being stackwiped. I am also not sure if the holy order gets better tactics due to having blooddragon commanders.

Does the war-focus work properly with this mod? I've had the focus on a character for between 5 and 10 years, and not even gotten the first of the war-traits yet. I wanted to get Duelist. This is my first game with WoL aswell, so I don't really know what to expect..

How would I use the console to add Duelist and Strong, so I can move on with more functional foci?

The Foci do work, but it will take a while to get those traits, if you want to add them via console just type add_trait strong/duellist into the consle and hit enter.

I hope the problem with the vampire knights will be fixed for the next version, but it has become somewhat elusive. They have been set up just like any other special unit, but they're the only one becoming invisible.
