I'm an amazonian queen. I chose to use the Find Fountain of Youth decision. My character left court, a regent took over, and now nothing is happening. Years have gone by and I've had no events or anything relating to my character's search. They're still away from court. Is this WAD or a bug?

Yes, it's normal, it can take your entire life to find it, though there should be some flavour events every once in a while to pick whether to keep searching or abandoning the quest.

How did the Witch Hunters (Templars of Sigmar, specifically) got the authority to go around burning entire towns worth of people in places out of the Empire that don't even worship Sigmar or even the other Imperial gods, like, say, Bretonnia? Pretty much the entire Old World?

I really doubt they are an internationally recognized organization.

Also found kinda weird how my Bretonnian grand-duke can summon the Witch Hunters for a war.

They more or less are, actually. They have authority throughout the Old World and the Old World Pantheon (of which Sigmar is a god of) in game. It's also a bit of an abstraction in that the other churches don't have their Witch Hunter equivalents around in game (there isn't any real lore on them),

Pretty much the latter point. Estalia and Tilea usually have their own inquisitorial orders, but Silfae (from what I remember) saw creating those as unnecessarily complicated. The Brets will be exempted once they have their Maidens and they can patrol the shit. Otherwise, it is just too easy to break Bretonnia as a WH.

Just a quick question, are any of the old world religions getting heresies or sub-cults in the future? Taalites for instance can be divided into those who follow Rhya more closely than Taal and Sigmarites have been known to fall under the sway of 'reincarnations' of Sigmar.

I check this subforum quite often and I haven't seen any mention of these things but forgive me f this has been discussed.

It was discussed at some point but we just opted to not adding them in, since the canon heresies really don't play a huge part in the scheme of things ( and more than often, are fronts for undercover Chaos cults ). Instead, they're represented by the Fanatic rebels that can pop up for generally impious or decadent rulers of Old World and Ormazdic religions.

What about the True Grail stuff? Unused asset?

It's used, but its not seen often. It should appear if the King of Bretonnia is not a Grail Knight and has failed to become one in his questing. He is prompted to abdicate or keep searching for the Grail. I think that after that, if he keeps searching, he can either successfully find it or delude himself into drinking from a "grail" of dubious authenticity. Eventually this leads onto his vassals suspecting his claim and branding him a heretic, changing the king's religion to the False/True Grail religion so that the AI hates him, deposes him through factions and so on.

Its a bit wonky, and its one of the things that need a re-work, but we want to flesh out the factions that really need it, rather than the ones that are more or less represented by vanilla mechanics.

I have horse lords, but i dont know how. And also, does plot_convert_slaanesh work?
Right click on the a count tier title within your de jure land and then you should have the option to create a state regiment. If that didn't help then check the state troop dev diary out. It has a screenshot in it.

At this point in time, I noted that the issue about Vampire Knight retinues being invisible seems to only apply to certain cultures whose characters have been turned into the von Carstein or Blood Dragon strain of vampires.

In the example I used for myself, a Strigany/Strygan character who is a von Carstein is not able to produce Vampire Knight retinue units that are visible on the map, while changing his culture intentionally to a Bretonnian or Imperial culture group, it becomes visible again.

Since this appears related to map character models, I take that the vampire retinue does not draw on the in-game resources fully yet?
