Can the chaos dwarf religion be reformed somehow, or am I stuck at low crown authority by design?

It's intentional, all of the Chaos religions are like that. I really wish that Hashut was not though, personally :p Chaos Stunties, and their religion, seem more organized than just some Chaos cult.

What's going on with the lizardmen? I remember it used to be the Slaan in charge but now there's skinks or something? Is everything just not implemented?

See the dev diary on Lizardmen for that. Those are written to answer such questions. ;)

Daemon vassals have some timed negative effects when there are multiple of them. Some combinations lead them to kill each other and other combinations lead them to killing me.
Question 1 (q1): From where do they trigger these effects? Do they need to be in my court (a), just in my realm (b), or my "friend"-flagging me as the summoner (c)? Or something else entirely (d)?

Examples:
(q2) If I place say 10 flamers of tzeentch (that I summoned) as city mayors around the realm, will they start counting down the kill-me event?
(q3) Would the same result occur if I wasn't the summoner, but just had them wandering into my court or inherited them?

(q4) If I place a combination of Flamers, Daemonettes and Bloodletters (that I summoned) around the realm as city mayors and temple bishops, will they start to countdown all the daemon-vassal timed events?
(q5) Would the same result occur if I wasn't the summoner, but just had them wandering into my court or inherited them?

(q6) What does the "min_age=666" line in the above event-code do?

(q7) is the "host_daemon_commander flag" something you get from the chaos-god-specific ritual to summon a 3000unit deamon host?

If you have daemons in your realm, they'll screw with you, regardless of their station. That said, daemons are not meant to be vassals in the first place, titles assigned are removed automatically.

If I use necromancy to build an Abyssal Terror as Vlad von Carstein, does the Terror vanish automatically after a few years like summoned Undead, or is it a permanent summon like when crafting a magic item?

Thanks!

Also, if one were so foolish as to let the Von Carstein ring be stolen in his sleep... is there any way to recover it?

Is it possible to settle as chaos nomads in this mod? I went and swiped some castles from the Chaos Dwarves playing as Khornate, but I can't seem to figure out how to settle down. Or is Chaos just not suited for the settled life?

How does one steal the Von Carstein ring? or get it stolen

Through a plot, once it has been discovered (which means that Vlad has to "die" at least once, so people start to notice something's fishy about that ring).

Follow up question though: does the ring give complete immunity to death, like the Nehekharans have? And does it have limited uses? Looking through the files, it seems the ring is automatically destroyed once it protected you five times...

I do not know if it is still actually in the code, but that was a Imitation to it in earlier times, Prior to ring-stealing plots. It 'should' give you complete, Nehekharan-style immortality, yes.

Yes, I believe it's still counted by variable. Before the fifth time, you are as indestructible as a Nehekharan.

I got the "Acquire Dark Crystal" ambition as a Sigmarite Reiklander Emperor of The Empire. Is this working as intended or should I report it as a bug? It sure would be interesting if I somehow found it, but I'm guessing I would have to go conquer Lustria or the ambition is broken altogether for an Imperial. Of course, it does say one was recovered by an Imperial scribe.
