I got the "Acquire Dark Crystal" ambition as a Sigmarite Reiklander Emperor of The Empire. Is this working as intended or should I report it as a bug? It sure would be interesting if I somehow found it, but I'm guessing I would have to go conquer Lustria or the ambition is broken altogether for an Imperial. Of course, it does say one was recovered by an Imperial scribe.

There's a total of three in the Old World, down near the Jade and Cathayans. It's achievable for you, if rather difficult.

The scribe in question is actually the Cathayan Imperial Scribe; he's the leader of the renegade Jade.

Okay, thanks a lot for the info. I'll just have to conquer southwards I suppose. There's just the matter of a huge Orc kingdom being in the way. lol I share a border with them at this point, so I could get started. I don't think I'll reach the Jade before I die, but it's worth a try!

The Carsteins take prestige hit if they turn lowborns.
Nehekhara can be conquered in theory, but it's pretty much impossible for a living creature.

So it's basically impossible for humanity to unite all of Terra?

Nah. It's just insanely long-term (to the point I wonder if one can do it in the timespan given) and Nehekhara gives pretty much zero additional troops, income, or anything else.
It is mostly, and fittingly, dead land that you can gladly skip over.

Also keep in mind that all those Tomb Kings will still be...uh...alive, and launching claimant adventures on any Nehekharan title you take.
A horde could theoreticly take the land while burning all the holdings down and invalidate all titles above count. I think they don't even get permanent penalties as long as the capital is not in this cursed land.

Are there any region in Bretonnia that have some extra morr-flavour?
Let's say I wanted to start a game with a breton noble with the lore of death, where would the most appropriate region/province be to place him from canon-lore?

You're going to get burned at the stake.
That's ok, hopefully I have time to cultivate a heir before it happens :)
On that topic, can the King of Bretonnia (emperor level) still be burned at the stake for magic usage?
Also, is the decision to invite the witch-hunters permanent, or do they have a "mission complete, now we return to the empire" event?

There is a decision to tell them to piss off at the cost of 500 prestige and a 5 moral authority hit to Sigmarite, but no, nothing that allows them to permanently stay.

Btw, how do one get the fighter traits in this mod? Example: formidable fighter. Or have they been deactivated in leu of trait-bloat?
Deactivated, there are large amounts of old coding still left in the system, just commented out, the fighter traits are some of those codes left out.

They are legacy traits and aren't used for anything and can't be gained through normal (non-console) game play.

Maybe in the future they can be aquired by some people in some flavor quests events? Like grail quest, or blood dragons vampires? Or the decision to not use them is final?
