The Hero Vlad has got a problem: Carstein Ring disappeared. BUT it wasn't stolen. Vlad received an event, which describes how Vlad secures the Ring, but a thief escaped Vlad's wraith. But Vlad managed to unite The Empire and he received the Ghal Maraz. After searching all the world by "carstein ring" phrase, the character list is narrowed to Vlad, his cousin, and daughter. None of them has The Ring.
So, my questions are:
1. How could Vlad find The Ring? And then return it?
2. Could The Ring be recreated?
3. Could it be the side effect of The Empire unification?

1. He can't. It's gone forever.
2. No, it was a unique creation of Nagash. Once gone, it's gone for good.
3. No. I just checked the ring stealing events and you've must have read the event wrong and it was stolen.

Too add on to what Illathid said, there is an event that makes Vlad lose his ring if he reaches a certain size, you probably crossed the threshold for it.

That's still in? We were supposed to have removed it when we added the plot in.

I believe it isn't anymore.

In any case, if the ring was stolen by a vampire and the thief who stole it didn't just decide to disappear rather than give it to the plotter, the ring is not lost yet.

Is nagash present in this mod? and is it possible to play as him?

Nope. Though you can play as a Nagash-worshipping necromancer and follow in his footsteps.

If it has been stolen by another vampire, you can steal it back by plot.

You can search character and see if anybody has the Carstein Ring, if nobody has it, then it's lost forever.

That accursed Notoby. He always steals it.
I bet he's a male Lahmian.

There, fixed it.

Hello, I was wondering if there're sources or links for learning magic been poking around the web with no luck. I'm itching to try my hand at necromancy but I need to get samples for it. Should I imprison my courters and murder them or attack my neighbours or something. Been playing magically gifted characters for this purpose with no luck especially nagashi vampires.

If I try to make my own crappy little Warhammer mod, can I use resources (e.g. the map and the portraits) from this mod without explicit permission?
