I want to make a mini-mod just for me where I can create more roman provinces, or at least a what-if they were conquered by the Romans. As I am a bit inexperienced in modding what would I need to alter other than landed titles, decision, event, coa, in order for it to work?
Also I apologize for asking this question here I don't know if I should have asked it on the general modding forum but I am curious as to whether there are any CK2+ specific alterations that I need to make.

So I'm loving the additions with CK2+ and I'm currently running it with the Automatic Building Construction mod. No compatibility issues.

I was curious however about cultures, specifically with culture drift and conversion. I am currently the HREmperor and am a Gothic. Now I'd like to spread other cultures within the empire and not have them all revert to my culture over time. Is there a way to mod the data so that culture conversion stops at the Kingdom liege so that Emperors have no effect on culture?

I have a similar question about de jure provincial drift and if its possible to mod counties to drift into and out of duchies. Lebus should be a part of d_Brandenburg as the County of Neumark. :p

EDIT: Hindsight, I should probably ask this in Modding General, but seeing as though I want to make the changes as a part of my current CK2+ game...

Last I checked, there's a law for how you want culture conversion to happen, and I think one of them is for it basically turned off. As for spreading other cultures, I don't think so. As far as I know, there's no real benefit to having cultures not yours spread.

That's not quite what I'm getting at. In the game, cultures automatically shift towards the top liege of the land. Independent Duchies have the duke as top liege, so if he's culturally a Wend, then his duchy will drift towards Wend. But if he becomes subjugated by a Saxon King then he's no longer the top Liege and the duchy will then drift towards Saxon. Further if that Saxon King becomes subjugated by a German Emperor, then his duchy will move towards the German Culture.

I want to make it so that the game won't look at Imperial titles for culture drift. As I don't feel like an Emperor has enough direct influence over his many subjects to influence the culture in that regard. Instead, if an Emperor wants to influence the cultures of his vassal kingdoms, then his vassals should be selected for that culture. In my personal case, I want my Kingdoms to be of many different Germanic cultures, as I am currently/going to role play as a legendary ruler who will unify the German peoples in one vast empire of clay.

And of course, having counties drift into/out of duchies would make the dynamics of the game change even more.

How do patriarchs work for the Paulicans? I control Jerusalem, Constantinople and Antiochia (all with Paulician Bishops) as a Paulican emperor but I only got one patriarch in Antiochia.

I should probably add this to FAQ.

Paulicians and other religions get only three patriarchs because they only have Petrine Sees.

So only Rome, Antioch and Alexandria?
Jerusalem, Antioch and Alexandria.
If you're not getting a patriach in one of those, check it's actually run by a bishop, and not some feudal vassal who accidentally got left with just a bishopric, or by a wrong religion character.

Ignore me.

Am I going crazy, or do pagan kings not have the ability to use the subjugate cb?

By the way, what's the current use for Siculo-Arab and Siculo-Greek?
I don't see any of the provinces changing to that. Is it currently used at all?

Also, why does Southern Italy become "Italian" and then "Sicilian" ? Is it an abstraction of Southern Italy developing it's own culture that's decisively different from the rest of Italy?

Can Kemetic religion characters stay Sahidic culture without being promped to convert to Egyptian culture? Just from the little bit ive read, it seems that Sahidic culture is somewhat closer to the original Kemetic culture.

Alright, so with some help, I was able to make this but I'm having some issues. Currently, the game loads and either instantly pops a blank event, or it triggers after a couple days. The game was running just fine before, so it has to be a problem with the new code. I've tried everything I can think of and to no avail. Now I know I'm just modding the mod at this point for personal use, but I think it would be really cool to have something like this to implement into the game. Any advice on what I'd need to correct in order to get it to work?

Note that the premise of it is to have Kings spread their culture to their kingdom while completely ignoring the emperor's culture (outside of his personal demense) .
