Quicksaves BROKEN or rerouted??

i've updated to the latest version of CK2+ (the rewrite) from github.

PLEASE direct me if there's another thread about this or more appropriate avenue to bring it up.
There's no quicksaving.

When I save with this mod and only this enabled, my saves go into a CK2 plus folder in documents/paradox/etc.

But no quicksaves? In the new folder or original. Where do they go? Is this broken? Removed?

update: quicksaves suddenly work but autosaves are nowhere to be found?

Autosaves should also go there.

as of this moment, quicksaves suddenly now work... and autosaves suddenly now don't. with the setting on monthly. i'm at a loss
maybe i need to clear the whole cache or something?

I would like to add that I have a similar issue. I cannot continue a game from the launcher: the most recent file is selected but the button is disabled. Only using CK2+ (latest) with last CK2. I didn't check the quick saves, I could if it would be useful for you.
Btw I am running the linux version.
