Otherwise, now with GRC and PLA in your SoI, the trade will flow in Qinqiu. Have you ever thought about returning home? (forming China)

And forming China is not an option, my culture isn't in the Chinese group. Could be a decision to add in a future version ;)

Because AI is not capable to do it so you can effectively overrun any AI colonization even if it already has 50% complete. Because of that many people call it an exploit.

I'd say the bigger exploit then is colonising at all, considering I only saw one attempt by the AI to do so...

That is not the same - AI researches technologies weirdly and after they can, they SLOWLY colonize. But using soldiers is the thing that AI NEVER does.

Well, others done it before you, and its in the game, so its not that bad to use it i guess.
I would not know where to search to remove that, but i guess youre more capable than i am in making such modding edits :)

Oh, nobody accuses you from heresy - I think that the most people do it as well. I just dont like it because when you use it, it is very easy to paint Africa entirely by your color and that is not very realistic...

I looked into some files to see where is the feature kept, but without success:(.

But I found this:
COLONY_WEIGHT = 1.5, -- ai weight for colonising
ADMINISTRATOR_WEIGHT = 2.5, -- ai weight for new bureaucrat
INDUSTRYWORKER_WEIGHT = 5.0, -- ai weight for new industry workers
EDUCATOR_WEIGHT = 2.5, -- ai weigth for new clergy
PRODUCTION_WEIGHT = 0.05, -- ai weight for new production
Because of this AI colonizes very slowly in the beginning...
 
Maybe we could tweak that, as I assume it would only apply to countries that have coloniseable provinces in reach anyway.
 
Hey, don't be hard on yourself. Humans can figure out that more territory is good, and AIs aren't bothered by ugly borders and don't mind rebels. They also don't get naval attrition.

PS: I've never heard that called an exploit before, just the AI not being as competitive as it could be, like not reloading as often as possible in an FPS.
