Radar had a measurable impact on air combat in HOI2 because there were fewer provinces.

In HOI3, radar doubled as signal decoding places but this felt a little wrong. Britian's lead in radar technology didn't allow them to see what divisions garrisoned Konigsberg, it enabled them to have an advantage in the air war. It seemed like this aspect of the air war was really lacking in HOI3, and there wasn't even a tooltip that explicitly said what radar did in terms of game mechanics!

So yeah, this would be a much welcomed and much-needed improvement. Radar should also be a very big deal in the naval war too!

Please post any suggestions.

Then you never placed single radar stations in key places all across Germany, and I'm not talking cities/airbases. All you had to do was place these stations along projected routes for bombing missions and your INTs would more than double their interceptions.

radar in HOI3 wasn't just radar, it was also radio intercept, along with decoding. that does give you the size and compistion of units in a area
