(I'm fairly depressed by the following turn of events. My only offensive war had been against the Iroqoius, so my BB rating couldn't have been that bad, yet something went terribily wrong, as you'll soon find out!)

News flash, 1750: French troops invade North American provinces! Fundy, Belle Isle, Micmac and Manhattan taken!

News flash, 1751: Hanse troops launch counter-offensive in North America! Rebellion in Southern colonies! France accepts peace for Belle Isle, Fundy, and Micmac.

News flash, 1777: Rebellions in American colonies!

News flash, 1780: Rebellions put down, but Poland invades in Europe. Bremen given in peace.

News flash, 1792: The end of the world is upon us! Final score, 10th.

Wow...

I can't believe it's over. Excellent job with the AAR -- it was no less entertaining than it would've been had things turned out better for you.

I guess maybe you should've gotten into a different alliance earlier on, maybe with the Poles.

I think for smaller states, getting colonies in most places is a chancy proposition. Unless they are very rich, mostly adjacent to each other, and you have the time to build them up and fortify them, eventually a larger power can take them from you. Meanwhile you've spent a very high percentage of your resources on developing them.

I look forward to your next effort! :D
