So apparently raiders got a boost to aggression or something this release. Just about every lord, aside from myself as the Westerlands (I'm shitty gold, obviously), is broke as all hell. How do I decrease raid aggression so the King stops defaulting on the 1000 gold loan he owes me, and the 500 he owes the Iron Bank?

Only so many times i can resist the urge to take the throne and manage the Kingdom myself...
It's not time yet.

Yeah, I agree that raiding is too much on this version. I began playing in The Reach and not even a month into the game, my diplomacy bar was filled with people who were raiding me. To make matters worse, most were Ironborn so I can't do a war of aggression against them. It's a serious pain when I have to levy Oldtown or The Arbor every week to put down a raiding party.

100% agreed, the Ironborn raiding the Iron Throne while their vassal makes no sense. Is there a quick fix like a minor .txt edit or is it a deeper issue?

I can say I've seen a lot of raiding as well. Even more scary is the fact that the Ironborn seem to be raiding with all their levies, amassing pretty large forces and fleets to hit the rest of the Seven Kingdoms with.

Alright, this is ridiculous!
After some testing I have noticed that both the Stepstones and Iron islands raid westeros, non raiding liege or not makes no difference. This causes the owner of e_iron_throne to raise levies all the time leading to all kinds of problems. Something must be done to ensure the Ironborn cannot raid if they have a liege with a non-raiding religion and the stepstones must simply raid less (no idea why they do it now, was not a problem in previous versions) because they mostly raid shipping, not coasts.

The Ironborn suggestion was in place in earlier patches if I recall. I could only raid when there was a civil war on the continent. Yes, I do also agree the pirates of the Stepstones should be less biased to raid shores when they were a nuisance to passing ships.
