I installed the Rainfall mod, when it started raining the city flooded because I didnt understand the mod well enough to build the drainage system yet so I saved and quit during a storm. In the settings I had it set that when you load a save, to end the storm. When I load the city again after removing the mod. Every building just seems to be spawning endless water. I tried reinstalling the mod and that didn't work. I tried dezoning and that didn't work. Does anybody have any ideas on how I could get rid of the water from spawning?

i hope you read mod descriptions more carefully in future.

I read the whole thing, nothing about this. The mod creator even said enabling the mod should make it go away but it didn't.
...You must create and manage a storm drain network in order to protect your city from suffering the effects of flooding...

I was referring to when you remove the mod, water keeps spawning. After removing the mod, you would assume the water would evaporate or drain away and the city wouldn't flood anymore but water just keeps spawning and no way to remove it as far as I can tell.

That's funny because if you did read it, you'd clearly see the problem isn't listed there and in the comments on the mod, the creator and I clearly show that he never thought to test the issue I was having (not his fault) I never would have thought to test it either. But I do wanna thank you.....for nothing. :)

oh, i thought it said to resubscribe to the mod, switch off the spawning and then unsubscribe again.

anyhoo, i'm glad it's fixed and i'll stop waggling my finger at you

rainfall wouldn't remove the water sources upon loading because he turned off dynamic weather. basically one of the first things rainfall does is check if dynamic weather is on and if its off then rainfall basically shuts down the whole adding/removing water sources thing. Storm drains still work with dynamic weather turned off though. By the way the water sources would have eventually emptied but I made the amount of water available to them huge due to needing more water for flood spawners. The reason "removing the mod" doesn't remove the water sources is because water sources are saved by the game regardless of whether rainfall is installed or not.
