Random crashes

Hello, I've read all the posts relating to similar problems from other people, but my problem is slightly different. I had done a clean re-install of the game and then put in the latest version of the patch. The game played *flawlessly* for over a week. Then (in 1610 in a Venice Grand Campaign game, if it matters), the game began crashing. For a while, I could stave off the crashes by re-saving the game, but eventually the game would just completely crash after about three days of play. I changed *nothing* on my machine before the start of the problem. I've gone so far as to back up the save game folders and do a complete re-install and repatching of the game, but the problem remains. The game crashes about three days into any game. Any suggestions apprecaited. Thank you.

By "latest version" do you mean the latest officail patch 1.07 or do you include the Beta patches as well?
