I've read all the posts relating to similar problems from other people, but my problem is slightly different.
I had done a clean re-install of the game and then put in the latest version of the patch. The game played *flawlessly* for over a week.
Then (in 1610 in a Venice Grand Campaign game, if it matters), the game began crashing. For a while, I could stave off the crashes by re-saving the game, but eventually the game would just completely crash after about three days of play. I changed *nothing* on my machine before the start of the problem.
I've gone so far as to back up the save game folders and do a complete re-install and repatching of the game, but the problem remains. The game crashes about three days into any game.
Any suggestions apprecaited.
