I have been playing Galactic Civilizations or some such game..and every once and a while when you conquer/settle a planet it gives you a choice of 3 things to do with special circumstances. This would be cool to do, yea? Now how this would be handled..a bit tricky..for sure id like a hand in raising kids and their stats, lots of things, what to do with captured banditcs, stuff like that..although it would have to be diffrent every time or make every choice give good and bad things in equal measure.

...hard. Really hard. Well..if you play it on anything above normal. heh.

I guess this is not to far off given that it is a strategy first game.

GalCiv is great!!! I had my doubts after being burned by that other 4X space game (you know the one) but I have been addicted to GalCiv since I got it last Saturday. One of those games where you start playing with the intention of only spending an hour or so and then look up and several more have gone by without you noticing.
