The function to generate random species and homeworld names in the create new empire screen doesn't seem to be working properly in version 4.0. Previously, it would draw a name from a list corresponding to your chosen species type. However, in 4.0 it seems to be stuck on a small pool of names from the humanoid set regardless of chosen species type. This doesn't affect the names of AI species in gameplay, only the "create new empire" interface. Is this supposed to be the case?

I think this is because the order on the menu has changed, if you set your name list first, then go back it will update and use the new list you have selected

Yeah, you need to click name lists first and change it to the intended species group. But I did notice that even after this there seems to be way less options presented in the randomizer. I used to organize my Stellaris empires in a spreadsheet, and much of the names I had written there previously (all of them provided by the game) are not showing anymore.

Yeah this seems to be happening to me too, it seems to just cycle between maybe 4-5 (sometimes not even that) names.
