I have to say after reading this for so long and having you write it for 3 years I had to see it stop before the game ends but given how many of these games I have started and then stopped and restarted for a patch or an expansion and how hard it is to write such an amazing AAR I can very much understand. Looking forward to a new one should you decide to make one. Thanks for such a great read and an amazing story.

Thanks for the ride Uriah.

It has been a very short three years.

Take care and do write another one :)

I understand you all too good, it must be a pleasure and not a chore to write.
But be sure to announce when and where you start a new one :)

Thank you for creating an epic, inspirational, entertaining and incredibly detailed AAR Uriah.

Sad, but I understand. Thanks for writing all you did Uriah!

An epic achievment, Uriah. Very impressive.

Congratulations for your AAR, even though I haven't finished reading it yet.
By the way, I believe our good hero has misplaced a file in post number 28. There is some mention of 30 cm armour for tanks. i suppose it should be 30 cm armour for battleship turrets, or 30 mm armor for tanks.
He had better put the file in the right drawer, the leaders of Germany will probably use him as a scapegoat to cover their own mess shoud someone else realize the mistake.
After reading about him, I kind of like him and would not want... let's say unpleasantness... to happen to him:).

Back to lurker status.

i hate to do this considering you made this story probably over 8 years ago. but i was wondering why the pictures for this AAR wont show up

Not good news I am afraid: it seems that the company I used for the early years has closed its free service. (I changed to another company midway I think).

Of course I had no idea at the time - I can't even remember why I switched.

From Wikipedia.

"ImageShack is a subscription-based image hosting website headquartered at Los Gatos, California.

Although ImageShack previously had a subscription service, the majority of its revenue was produced from advertising related to its free image hosting.[2] In January 2014, ImageShack announced that it was switching to a subscription based service and would no longer offer free uploads.[3]

Images stored in free accounts were still available until January 31, 2016, and free accounts not converted to paid accounts were deleted after that date"

I suppose that somewhere in my computer archive files there are the folders that hold all the photos, but to be honest it would be far too time consuming to replace them all. My AAR time these days is pretty much taken up with my first AAR of board game, (The Battle for Normandy) which is taking a lot of time. In time (maybe after the next update) I will probably do an HOI4 AAR, but at the moment I find it, even with mods, not immersive enough.

If desperate for reading material, you could look at https://aargmtsthebattlefornormandyexpanded.wordpress.com (starts at the bottom)

I can only manage an update every 2 weeks or so, so don't read too fast.
