A couple of quick questions:
1. Can anyone with the game fill me in on the effect that the 'rank' value in the leader files for generals and admirals has? I have a grip on the movement/fire/shock/siege values, but not the rank - does it affect gameplay, or is it merely help provide a title for the general in question? The only thing I think I read somewhere is that it determines which of two generals will command a combined force.
2. Just to clarify: I believe that a monarch who is also a leader will appear in both the leader and monarch files, correct?
3. And if 3 is true, what effect do the military and admiral ratings have in the monarch files? I assume they somehow facilitate the leaders, since a monarch who isn't also a leader will never command a force directly.
This is probably pretty basic stuff for anyone who has the game, but I'm just trying to nail down some more leaders & monarchs for the project and I realised that some of my concepts were pretty woolly. Thanx.
