According to p. 21 of the TC2M manual, carry-over scenarios can only be accessed if the previous battle was successful. Exactly how successfull does it have to be?
For example, in the 1st set of available carry-over battle scenarios, I have obtained (minor?) victories in Hill -- 446, but I didn't get that elusive 3rd star/VP site -- Jackson (503) and Banks (376). However, the next battles in all these scenarios are still unavailable to me. Why?
Does this have anything to do with a message posted on the High Scores menu to the effect that I need an average grade of 950-(596). These numbers seem to change as I play.
I read the manual's explanation for both grades and winning, but neither explain exactly why I can't progress to the next level since I have at least minor victories in the first battle for each carry-over scenario.
And yes, it took more than one try to get these scores. I always do better on the 2nd fight. Most of the combat problems I have is keeping a tighter rein on some of the more daring generals who end up too far afield defending key positions.

Maybe if you get a total Victory instead of a minor victory? Just a guess, Not what you want to hear i bet!!

Sounds like you know what you're doing, can you give me any tips on the use of Artillery? Mine seems to be lazy and Inacurate.

Each scenario is different and the carryover rules are created by the scenario designer. If you can't find what you need in the battle info, stop by our forums and ask the designers themselves.
