re-enter society

in Europe at the end of a prison sentence there is a period where prisoners are pepaired to re-enter society in this period they often can be free for a set amount of time to prep themselves to get back in the world, like apply for a job, find an apartment, getting social life back on track. basically learn about how things are in the world after they have done there time. Ofcource there is a small chance they commit another crime but more often then not they will walk on the good path afterewards.

Logistics
how nice sould this feature be in this game? its a logistical challange getting prisoners in and out of the prison, during this period visitation for the prisoner sould be more premitted, a visit to a psychiatrist or social worker each day can be needed, basically you take the prisoner from criminal back to citizen so the feature will be challenging on the logistical part of the game

Well being
also for prisoners leaving the prison well being of the prisoner sould be at the top point, the prisoner needs to be 100% to leave the prison. a con of being a prisoner about to be released could be that other prisoners seek more contact with that prisoner, fact is that they too wil seek outside contact via the prisoner being released making the chance higher the prisoner will get in a gang. a second rule for realease could be that the prisoner only can leave the prison when they are not in a gang. becouse of this this prisoner will be more likely to get into a fight or commit a crime inside of the prison, like smuggeling contraband back in or using drugs.

rules for release
- the sentence is about to end
- the prisoner sould be healthy both fysically and mentally
- the prisoner sould not be in a gang.
- the prisoner sould have a job
- the prisoner did not commit a crime inside the prison
- the prisoner is not addicted to drugs

the chance a prisoner comes back via police car instead of by itself becouse they committed another crime outside of prison sould be about 10%

in return the prisoner is not allowed to go out again and the sentence wil go up by 5 > 15 years starting the period again

the chance a prisoner does not return voluntarily and so returns by police car should be about 15%
in return the prisoner is not allowed to go out again and the sentence wil go up by 2 > 7 years starting the sentence again

i am sorry for my english this is not my native language
i hope this will be a feature in the game making the game more of a challange every once in a while, imagine people building whole prison wings for the purpose of rehabilitation.

I agree with your comprehensive release goals. I don't believe physical health should be a factor. You have seen these prisons? They were definitely the first instance of capitalistic prisons in the United States. Lunch ladies are only a food warmer away from criminals!
If they are in a gang or addicted to drugs they will commit crimes while incarcerated. Who is to say they will get caught?
I think they should seek out any treatment for mental illnesses they may have and have a job but that job works off a portion of their sentence they have to serve.
They could also obtain a GED and a degree while incarcerated which gives them a higher probability of succeeding.
