Really stupid CORE question

...that I'm embarassed to ask...

Upon my download of CORE v0.3, I install -- and am curious about proper path?

Default is generic /program files/Paradox Interactive/Doomsday --

However, I get "folder exist, install anyway".

The documentation seemed to indicate that CORE can coexist with vanilla DD, and mentions that all installs are to moddir. However - I see no such directory under DD (is it under HOI2 vanil perhaps)?

Do I use this default, or is there a different path I should install to?

Sorry for the silly question - but couldn't find my answer in the doucmentation or elsewherei n the forum

Hi,

CORE normally adds a folder into the Vanalla DD setup if you have everything set up standard, so just accepting the defaults normally works well. MODIR is a function of DD and not a folder, so you won't ever see that in the file listing. Hope this sets you on the right path.

If you look in your main Doomsday directory, you should see a sub-directory called "mod-CORE2" - that is where the CORE files all live, aside from a few graphics dummies, etc.
